The Seychelles Islands
Any successful social media strategy requires as much reach as possible, so while shooting for The Seychelles Islands Tourism Board, it was a major aim for us to ensure the content we created would be seen by as many people as possible.
To do this, Plus Alpha partnered up with multiple other companies and social media accounts. We teamed up with Kenya Airways to share the best images that we took, and conducted takeovers of their @officialkenyaairways account to cross-promote the destination, as well as writing an in-flight magazine article dedicated to the Seychelles.
We then teamed with both Four Seasons Seychelles and Fregate Private Island by the Oetker Collection, to capture content for both and cross-promote @visitseychelles on their accounts. We were the first influencer team to work with Seychelles Tourism and set a pattern for them to grow their account to now 74,000 followers.
The images were picked up by media worldwide, including the Telegraph, Cosmopolitan, and Brutus Magazine in Japan, and shared by major travel Instagram accounts like @bestvacations and @wonderful_places. Our work shooting in Four Seasons Seychelles also formed part of our “From Africa with Love: 3 Romantic Getaways” story for Four Seasons Magazine, based upon our Instagram Campaign with Four Seasons Serengeti, Seychelles and Mauritius.
