One of our most successful ever social media management campaigns, @meetsouthafrica grew by 6.9k in just 30 days as we ran their account during our exploration of the country.
Over the month we traveled from one end of South Africa to the other, from Kruger National Park to Cape Town by road, capturing content by drone, still images and video along the way.
By cross-promoting with the Tourism Board, Fly Airlink, Four Seasons, The Royal Portfolio, &Beyond and Game Reserves like Thanda and Madikwe, we were able to build momentum to direct followers from @robertmichaelpoole and @marcy_yu across all accounts to aid reach and growth. We conducted simultaneous takeovers of most partner accounts.
Our images received over 70,000 likes, averaging 2.3k and peaking at 5,4k on the final post. The account grew from 87k to 93.9k over 30 days, with over 1,000 comments across the 30 shots.
