Plus Alpha partnered with the national tourism board of the Dominican Republic as a goal to relieve the destination from the bad press the country had been facing in their tourism in 2019, by showcasing how secure, safe and diverse this destination is.
We explore the country in depth for 3.5 weeks and decided to focus on the nature of the country. The Plus Alpha team visited 13 different destinations including a range of National Parks and regions where tourism is only just starting to develop. We aimed to show that the country has much more to offer than just the famous resort area of Punta Cana.
Our images, captured by drone and still camera, will form the basis of the visual presentation of the country through 2020 as the official images of the Dominican Republic Tourism Board.
